A Plain Language Summary aims to “translate” the technical results of clinical trials in a way that is scientifically accurate but easier to understand. It includes information about the purpose, treatment, side effects, results, and other facts about the trial. These summaries are translated into all the applicable languages of the participants that were in the trial.
A summary of select studies will be available for download approximately a year or more after the trial has fully completed.
If you are interested in receiving a Plain Language Summary for a particular trial, please use the search bar above to find the applicable trial(s). From there, you will be able to sign up for notifications to be alerted when a Plain Language Summary is available for that trial.
